Record Attendance of Over 42,000 at FCA Summer Camps Across the Country

FCA

FCA experienced a record of 42,001 in attendance this past summer, up 208% from 2002. Seven different types of camps now exist, including Sports, Leadership, Power/Youth Sports, Teams, Partnerships, and International. Each FCA Camp offered comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training while teaching participants how to reach their full potential.

FCA International Camps Reach 760 Campers

FCA International Camps grew from one camp in 2006 to five in 2007. Most of the Camps were partnership camps working with local ministries, schools and churches from that country. Camps in Korea, Mexico, Italy, and Columbia impacted not only the campers, but also the FCA staff and coaches that served at the camps. God is using the FCA camp Ministry to reach the nations!

Power Camp Attendance Spikes in 2007

God continues to grow the Power Camp model throughout America. Power Camps grew to 9,574 in 2007, an increase of 2,279. Power Camps were the most offered FCA camp with 84 different locations. Many FCA staff hold local Power Camps in their community in order to reach the 8 to 12 years old age group.

Team Camps Are Reaching Athletes and Coaches

Team Camps are a camp concept that has exploded throughout FCA. A total of 29 Team Camps reached 9,915 athletes and coaches, up from 17 camps reaching 5,479 in 2006.
